See you in Stoke Newington, the parks and the pubs
:-) !
Eleder’s Invite: See you in Stoke Newington, the parks and the pubs :-)!
Berlin 2010 was my first Wosonos just after a few small facilitating experiences. I met there sage, fun and loving people that I feel now somehow as my “world family”. I came back to Bilbao with the clear determination to “do more open space”.
Last 2 years have made this dream come true and now, after several OS experiences, I can say that “I can facilitate” open space. Now I’d love to go further in the no-ending way to become a “good” facilitator. And I know that London will be a key milestone on the way.
And I know, too, that beyond the walls and schedules of the official settings, we will continue enjoying this learning adventure all over the open space of life. Yes, we also will still gather, relax, eat, walk, drink, chat, sing and dance together in the pubs and parks,… as far as our two feet take us there. Are you prepared to be surprised?
Cecilia Soriano’s Invitation

Michael Herman’s invite: The Best WOSonOS ever?
entertainment in the evenings. but of course we know there isn’t any
such plan! :-)
It may or may not be the best osonos ever, but it’s almost certain to
be the year’s largest and most diverse gathering of some of the most
open-space-passionate practitioners and learners on the planet. it’ll
be like no osonos ever before and it can never be replicated in all
the fantastic ways it’ll happen this year. there will be many of the
smiling faces and huggable hearts that belong to people whose names
have been seen on this list. and there will be other amazing people
we never met or imagined. everyone there will be most interested and
active and passionate about open space and many many related things.
there might be news coming out online, but it can never replace being
fully present.
the osonos gatherings i’ve been part of have been some of the best
open space learnings and connectings and fun i’ve ever had. i think
anyone who has any real interest or passion for open space practice
will find much to do and learn and many good people to know at this
20th(?) world convening.
I wish I could make it this year. I’m thinking now that since I can’t
be in London for the big event, I might just have to convene a small
simultaneous breakout somewhere between here (chicago) and milwaukee,
with our old friend sheila isakson. she and I hosted osonos7 in
chicago, back in the days when two people and one day of planning work
was pretty much all it took to make an osonos. :-)
Safe travels to all who are lucky enough to be london-bound and thanks
for whatever stories you can share. thanks, too, to all the folks
helping to keep our os and osonos practices going.
Michael
Corina
Follow what has heart and meaning!
Anna Carolina’s Invite: Follow what has heart and meaning!
Take your two feet and come to London, where this years World Open Space on Open Space will be celebrated.
What a wonderful opportunity to connect with amazing people from around the globe:
Free spirits, who are passionate about living and spreading the law of two feet (or simply the law of mobility).
The law says:
Stay when you can either learn or contribute.
If you don’t: Go to a more productive place.
Since 12 years this simple law rules my world and enriches my life every day.
At the WOSonOS in London I meet my peers and share inspiring stories: we exchange miracles of self-organization, remember simple principles to lead into a better future and enjoy the presence of global community, that loves to act for change.
At the WOSonOS I get nurtured and inspired to move on with my own vision.
More than that: I am prepared to be surprised…to co-create with YOU!
I see you,
@ WOSonOS 2012!
Follow your passion.
Romy’s Invitation: Conversations that matter…… and bring inspiration
Well, we’ve just had the Jubilee extravaganza in London… and the Olympics and Paralympics celebrations have been a great success… Invitations abound….. and here in WOSONOS there will be a different kind of engagement.
Open Space has been in my blood since I first met Harrison in 1992. Some seem to call us greying haired OSers the ‘elders’: perhaps? While being in Open Space is an eternally youthful experience !
In my work, I personally convene conversations in many different format, with delicious designs, and…. it is the power and pure truth of self-organisation in OST, that demonstrates every time, it’s really all we need for effective human interaction.
And why WOSonOS?
- To delight in the forever magic of discovery around Open Space and those who open space.
- To touch the spirit and wisdom of old and new friends.
- To seek for and nurture the potential of helping to create together a more nourishing, inspirational, equitable and sustainable world.
I’m coming in the trust that we may ACT together for our world. And… coming in the knowing that friendships will be formed, and learning will be certain.
Looking forward to seeing wonder-full faces from all around our globe.
Romy (Shovelton)
Chris Grady’s Invitation: A bit like crop circles…
There’s seems to be something slightly un-real about Open Space…its been around for 20 years I gather, and so literally thousands upon thousands of people must have sat in a circle and been surprised…and yet almost everyone in business I meet knows next to nothing about the power of OST.
I visit Crop Circles in Wiltshire. They are there large as life and infinitely beautiful almost every day of every summer and have been for 20 years. Banksy has only got to cough and the press cover write something - and yet almost know-one claims to know about these circles either.
I am so looking forward to being at WOSonOS and sitting in a circle where I truly have no agenda, no idea why I am there, no knowledge of who else will be there, and immense excitement about all that not knowing.
If you read this, and fancy joining me and loads of other people as we populate a conference agenda for 3 days with suprises, then book now, pay what you can, and Prepare to be Surprised.
Thank you Improbable for making this happen.
See you at WOSonOS
Christine Koehler’s Invitation
